Are terrariums alive?
Yes. Our living moss terrariums contain living moss and plants, creating a small natural ecosystem inside glass. With proper care, they can continue to grow and thrive for years.
How long do terrariums last?
With proper care, a well-maintained living moss terrarium can last for many years and remain a beautiful living piece of nature in your home or workspace.
Are terrariums easy to care for?
Yes. Our terrariums are designed to be low-maintenance and easy to enjoy. Moss grows slowly and requires only occasional care. Simply mist lightly when needed and avoid overwatering. Full care instructions are included with every piece.
Do terrariums need sunlight?
Yes. Living moss terrariums need natural light to stay healthy. Place your terrarium in a bright area with indirect sunlight and avoid direct sunlight, as strong sunlight can create excess heat inside the glass and damage the moss and plants.
Can I buy a terrarium as a gift?
Absolutely. A Wildglass terrarium makes a unique and thoughtful gift for nature lovers, plant enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates handmade botanical art.
Every piece is individually handcrafted, and because each terrarium contains different natural plants, moss, stones and decorative elements, no two pieces are exactly the same. Each one is a unique miniature world created by hand.

Yes. Local pickup is available from Mission Bay, Auckland by appointment.

Do you offer delivery?
For orders over NZ$100, local delivery may be available within selected Auckland areas.
Deliveries are arranged on scheduled days each week, depending on your location and our delivery route.
Please contact us with your address, and we will confirm availability and arrange a suitable delivery time.
Custom Orders
Can I request a custom terrarium design?
Yes. We welcome custom orders.
If you have a specific idea, theme or occasion in mind, please contact us by email or message. We can discuss your requirements and create a personalised botanical artwork.
Can I choose a specific theme?
Yes. We can create terrariums inspired by different themes, including fairy gardens, Japanese landscapes, forests, animals, crystals, rainforest scenes and other nature-inspired designs.

Are all pieces handmade?
Yes. Every Wildglass piece is individually designed and handcrafted by Tom, the founder and creator of Wildglass Botanicals.
Each terrarium, moss artwork and botanical creation is carefully made by hand, making every piece unique.
